“The wheel works well. Ordering the wheel was a nightmare with broken promises and poor communication. I was told the wheel was in stcok when I ordered and paid at the Brookvale store. Then came the run-around with the wheel not being available, and excuses about no transport being available between Baulkham Hills and Brookvale. Then I was told that the wheel was not available at Baukham Hills but was available at the Castle Hill store. BUT there was no transport available between Castle Hill and Brookvale. So, after 4 weeks of waiting, I took a drive... at my own expense... to the Castle Hill store and collected my wheel. Castle Hill staff were great! So was the customer Service Rep. in Brisbane. I cant say the same for the (lack of) service out of the Brookvale store. The whole ordering and availability logistics system in 99 Bikes needs a shake-up.”
“This wheel comes setup for tyres with tubes but I noticed the rim had air holes to accomodate tubeless tyres so replaced rim tape for tubless tape/valve then mounted the tubeless tyre off the wheel this replaced (due to damage). It went on perfectly and I have had zero trouble since. This wheel is not expensive but rolls very well and I am happy with the purchase. I run a 11spd cassette so the freehub suits but things may be different if I wanted to find a freehub for this wheel that could accomodate a 12spd SRAM cassette with a 10tooth sprocket.”
