“I've been riding with these Pirelli Cinturato 700 x 26c tyres for more than 1 year now (about 12,000 km on the same tyres) as a tubeless setup and love them. Although they are classified as gravel/rough road tyres, I've only ridden them on tar/bitumen roads but often these are not smooth roads with potholes, rough surface texture so riding with racing tyres will likely roll faster, however, I only feel a negligible difference on these tyres. I did (once only) ride through a small section of grass/rough vegetation to 'short cut' it onto the bike path - and managed to pick-up 13 thorns in my rear and 9 in my front simultaneously. I removed each one and spun the wheel so that my Stans fluid could cover the hole - and it sealed all 22 punctures - I rode with those same tyres for a further 8-9 months without any issues. Fitting them onto my aero rims was simple enough and they sealed (tubeless) almost immediately simply by using a foot pump. I will be using these tyres for as long as I can - have tried Schwalbe and other TLR tyres and these are by far the best all-rounder tyres. Well done Pirelli and 99 Bikes for providing them!”
