“I've only used the bike a few times since applying the tape and in that time if has provided an adequate degree of dampening and grip, and no movement of the tape, so I'm happy with that. I applied the tape myself which was a little stressful first time doing that and while its turned out pretty good, I'll be better next time. Look at a few video's and you'll be okay as long as you get the section for the hoods done properly (3 loops worked best for me). You can always unwind if you want to do a section again.”
“Nice grippy tape, sort of suede finish. Reasonably stretchy so not too bad to install. It is the same thickness right to the edge, not tapered to any extent, so be aware of this.”
