“They are the best protection available. Dont confuse them with the crappy masters D locks or most others. At the top of their class Diamond level, these things burn out angle grinder discs trying to cut thru. Look at the comparisons and torture tests on U tube. If you have bike and want to keep it, get a Hip Lok.”
“It is good but it is a major pain in the ass to lock and unlock from bike racks. You need the dexterity of an octopus to do it in some bike racks. When I am out and about with several stops to make, I really really regret purchasing this cumbersome lock. I was the owner of a combination lock before, and that was much more user friendly. I would not recommend this to anybody unless you love getting frustrated at every stop you have to make on your journey requiring safety from theft. It may be safe, but at what cost to our sense of well-being and travel arranngements.”
