“I purchased this item online. My son delivered the bike to Marion 99 Bikes. The salesperson decided to fit an alternate derailleur not the one paid for. Despite this unit being suitable for both linkglide and hyperglide systems and my existing HG cassette. I paid $60 for fitment of the derailleur. He called and wanted another $40 because he would have to brake the chain and replace the cable. Surely this cost is already factored into fitting of the derailleur because this is required on every occasion. I have spent a lot of money with 99 bikes over the years but I was very disappointed with this exchange.”
