“Bought 18 months ago. Nice and simple and versatile and in general I'm happy with it. However, there are a few issues which are management but not ideal for the $'s spent.
Some of the foam was already split when I received it and got worse fairly quickly, not a big deal, I've since taped it up. The mechanism that limits the fold down function (to allow access to your boot) is just a bit of a metal lug which was pushed away the first time I had more than 1 bike loaded, so the rack now just goes down until something stops it (i.e. the bikes). As per another review on damage to their car, you do you need to take additional measures than just using the included bungies to stop the bikes moving around and potentially scratching your car but that's common sense in a way. Another issues is there is a bit of swinging movement with more than 1 bike, which seams to work the bolt loose over a long trip so it needs to be retightened periodically. The movement is acceptable with 2 adult bikes but I'd worry with 4, and would certainly be concerned off-road.”
“Excellent product. Light weight, easily used. Easy to load and unload bikes, easily fits 3 MTBs, 4 would be tight. No hassles in fitting to car or removing after use. Easily stored.”
