“I think this may be a decent bike, but not for my daughter, who I bought it for. Only when I bought a different bike for my older daughter (a different brand and slightly more expensive) did I realise how heavy this one is. It also has grip shifters that my daughter finds difficult to turn at the upper and lower gear ranges. Sadly, the bike is now mostly unused, and I think most of the reason is it's just too unwieldy.”

“After only two short rides (2 weeks after I bought it), I had to return to the shop as the back tyre had gone flat and wouldn’t pump up. The sales assistant explained that the rim had caused a split tear in the tubing. The girl seemed to know that this happens and was very unhelpful in explaining why, other than repeating that it was a design issue. I was angry seeing as it was a brand new $400 bike and had never had this happen before.”
