“I would have preferred the 2025 Merida endurance 300 with Shimano tiagra but sold out in my size. I settled for the 2026 version with Shimano cues and was pleasantly surprised.
Shimano cues shifts better under load, climbing is easier with the 39 tooth granny gear but the only downside is that its not as fast to shift on flats compared to tiagra.
The rest of the bike is great, comfortable relaxed geometry, 10.5kg with pedals and accessories. Maxxis detonator tyres are decent on road and shared paths.”
