“This is a super thick & heavy chain which I liked for the security as there is a lot of bike theft in my area where grown men have been caught using the biggest toughest bolt cutters on the market to steal bikes as an means of regular income. There’s a similar industry amongst local teenagers whom pick locks, bike theft is rife. I wanted to minimize the chances of becoming victim to these scenarios so I opted for this lock. It is heavy but it easily fits in my basket for when I need to leave my bike in a high risk area (the beach). I have a lighter lock that still offers decent security for times when I duck into the supermarket or at a cafe etc”
