Ravemen CR 1000 Lumens Front Light Reviews

4.7 Rating 16 Reviews
I tested the Azure Cove 1000 lumens and this Ravemen CR 1000 lumens. The Ravemen has a wider and brighter beam, and a better mount which is easier to direct and doesn't shake over bumps. It's simply better, well, it's over twice the price so you get what you pay for. ($47 vs $99 at club prices). The only thing I don't like is that the button is at the end of the light rather than on top, which makes it awkward to use. It comes with a little button on a cord which you can plug into the light and mount on the handlebars, but I take my light off every ride to stop it getting stolen, so this is an extra hassle. I haven't tested this yet. I gave the Azure 4 stars due to the great price, and the Ravemen loses a star because of the button location. But it's such a brighter and wider beam and better mount that it's the light I will use.

Easy to set up and does a good job of illuminating the path ahead of you.

Nice and bright. 5 settings. Remembers your last setting when you turn it on.

A compact, bright front light that is perfect for night training efforts on deserted Sydney suburban streets. A must-have for winter training.

I like the former version. The light flashed faster in blink mode and I had to buy a C adaptor (previous one stolen off my Disability Scooter). However always highly recommend 99 Bikes with FANTASTIC and KIND service!

Great light, could not fault. The braket that holds the light to the handle bars is very poor. Hit any sort of bump and it moves.
