“I've used many chain lubes over time but over the last three years I've only used Squirt with my Mtn Bikes and find the chain runs cleaner and easy to dry service. Love it”
“Attracts less sand than oil and sheds off as it becomes contaminated. Can then get away with a quick squirt to relube without having to clean the chain as often vs using oil. Not the best for indoor use on a trainer though, as bits will shed off onto the floor over time.”
“Works very well for about 100ks then my chain started to make a clicking sound like the wax was wearing thin. There was also a build up of wax on the cassette and jockey wheels that turned into black gunk.
Adding more Squirt to stop the chain clicking caused the buildup of the black gunk gets worse.
Not a good chain lube for my local conditions imo.”
