“Had one tube out of three, leaking along the seam - a clear manufacturing defect. The folks at Brookvale immediately exchanged the dud for a good tube. These tubes are and importantly feel lighter tan butyl tubes. Hold pressure like a butyl tube. Nice upgrade.”
“5 stars when it works and stays inflated. Think I hit some small road debris and it punctured. Now 0 stars. Went to 99 bikes to ask for puncture kit for TPU tube because standard butyl etc does not work. Guy who served me didn't know what a TPU tube was, nor that they sold them, nor that a specialised repair kit was needed. He discovered they had none in stock in any case. Prior to that I had watched him break off a customer interaction in order to take a phone call AND THEN spend >5 min dealing with that query looking online whilst ignoring the customer standing directly before him. Your staff are well below par, have had no training in customer service and their knowledge is largely non-existent. It didn't used to be that way and I suspect not all staff are this bad.
