“Unfortunately, my tube went flat again. That’s 4 flats from 4 rides. The wheel was checked at 99 bikes, new tape applied to the inner rim and valve stem hole checked and clean. Not sure why but the tube valve stem keeps splitting at the base. The valve is at an angle after each ride so not sure why the tube is slipping on the wheel ? Running at 40psi.”
“This tube does the job - as it should - but I've also put tyre liners between it & the tyre. Not sure if squirting "Slime" inside the tube would be a better method of preventing punctures?..”
