“Absolutely awesome bike does everything I expected really well, riding on old country roads and pony trails, am suffering from arthritis in hips and knees and now find I can go further without issues.
The service at 99bikes Browns plains was brilliant 1st class..”
“It's such a good bike that the first one I bought was stolen!
Ended up buying another one exactly the same. Great electric assistance and it's very responsive, not much of a delay. Speed limited to 25km/h but that's faster than I could ever pedal up hills anyway so I can't complain about that. I'm planning to use it for railtrails, price while not cheap is better value then the other ones that have mid drive motors.
Overall happy with bike and the support I received from guys at 99 Bikes Kedron.”
“The battery life is terrible. When you change gears the motor stops and you lose all your momentum. No light provided on the bike. My previous bike which was half the price was twice as good.”
“This is the second Velectrix Ascent Pulse I've bought, and I've done 24,000kms on the original, purchased 11/21. Once a few teething problems were sorted, it's a great bike for me, a 74 year old with knees that were getting sore up steep hills. But now i ride twice as far as I used to with a regular bike and have no pain. Most of my riding is on sealed surfaces, but the bike is happy on unsealed paths too. Trip computer is very useful with 8 functions. The only issue with my new bike was brakes! 99Bikes replaced the rear pads (after 2 goes) and the system needed bleeding (air in system). Front brakes make a fair bit of noise, but i'll get new pads at first service.
All in all, great value for money, and at least as good as a couple of friends' ebikes who paid upwards of $5000.”
“Really happy with how it rides and the power levels of assistance given. Not so happy that the front brake was leaking oil however 99 bikes very quickly replaced the parts. My wife also bought the same bike, gears on hers are perfect, on the black one I have the gears are not smooth and sometimes won't locate properly, something I'm hoping 99 bikes will fix on it's first service as adjustment from a bike expert I know has not been able to adjust and wondering if it's in the mechanics of the lever.”
