“Ordered this to double as a couch and guest bed for a small ADU. It arrived quickly and took two people to put together in roughly 30 minutes with no problems. The 90" and 31" depth allows you to remove back pillows for a single, long guest "bed" - will need a mattress topper in a custom size (see etsy); and you can remove the center unit to reconfigure as a love seat and armless side chair. Nice fabric. The back cushions come with separate covers and vacuum-packed pillow inserts that need to be fluffed up before inserting in the covers. Recommend airing out in fresh air fo a few days to remove chemically smell. Have only had for a few days so time will tell, but the design is clean and modern and looks great in my space.”
“This was not my first choice of sofa, or even my second choice. I live in an apartment with a very tight stairwell and the Field was the only sofa I found that would fit up the stairs after a failed attempt with my first choice. If it weren't for my stairwell I wouldn't have ordered the Field or even kept it.
It's an overall disappointment and poor quality. The pieces are poorly machined and do not fit together, holes are misaligned and putting it together was quite difficult, not to mention that many of the legs and panels are clearly crooked. After a couple weeks the stitching started coming out of one of the cushions.
I've had it for at least 6 months now and I rotate the cushions regularly to get an even wear on them. I'd consider myself a heavy user and the cushions are still as firm as the day I bought it. 'A couple movie nights' as Burrow recommends to break things in hasn't made much of a difference. This couch is not very deep, and I've had to adjust how the cushions are positioned to give me more room to sit somewhat comfortably.
In summary, don't waste your time with Burrow and take yourself elsewhere. When I move, the Field will be getting tossed and I'll be buying a non-Burrow sofa.”
