“We had such a good experience with our two Burrow Lounge chairs (with the quality and with their customer service) that we thought we'd give the Field Sectional Lounger a try. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed. The couch sits low, with an unusally small area to sit--it's several inches shorter in "seat space" length than other couches, so your legs and knees hang off the edge. The cushions are thin and lumpy. We wanted a minimal-looking couch (and we do like the looks of it) but this one for the price just feels small and not sturdy enough for everyday use. You don't know these things until it is built, and at that point, disassembly and return just feel too difficult/expensive. So we're just kind of stuck with it.”
“Living in a fourth floor walk-up, I needed something that could arrive in pieces. My couch came in manageable boxes, with each element of the couch protected in it's own lovely, custom packaging. It was easy to put together, and I even got creative with mine and turned into a loveseat and chaise to better fit my small Brooklyn apartment. It's a firm couch, but that means cushioning does not sag and still looks new. I love that the presence of the couch isn't bulky or over-commanding. Perfect for me, and I'm even considering making my own custom slipcover for it.”
