“This item is a great way to make a modern accent with a wood grain.It has a very attractive and stylish feel to it. The only thing i could recommend is that the posting mounts could be used with anchors by screws going into the studs. Im not a fan of the plastic mounts that are just held up by the dry wall. With all the weight of books and over time i dont feel the plastic holders will hold up.... and i have children running around, if it fell on them that would be no good. I dont know if building codes are the same everywhere, but where im at its every 16" for a stud so i was able to assemble the shelves on the inner mounts. I would have liked to mount it on the outer mounts because i think it would look better, but then it wouldnt hit my studs. Either way i am pleased with the shelves and itlooks great!!”
