“I’ve had this couch for a couple of years now and it’s honestly the worst purchase I’ve ever made. “Versatile Couch” is just a fancy way of saying cheap and flimsy. Don’t even think about putting this thing anywhere that isn’t carpeted because it slides all over the place like it’s on ice. The cushions have completely sunken in, and somehow, it’s still rock hard and uncomfortable to sit on.
The customer service is a complete nightmare. I’ve been trying to leave a review for over a year now and it’s no accident they make it damn near impossible. They clearly don’t want honest feedback getting out.
If I could get a refund, I would in a heartbeat. I spent way too much money on this garbage. Total regret.”
“I was so excited to get this couch. I shopped around and really thought I settled on the best option for my space and family. I selected this fabric because of the “dog resistant” features. However, if your dog sheds even a little bit then this material is not for you. The fur gets stuck in the fabric. I have to pull my carpet fur remover off the pole and use it on the cushions to get all of the fur out of the fabric. I do this at least once or twice a week. Dirt from their paws doesn’t just wipe off either. It also gets caught in the fabric. My old sofa I got off the clearance rack at a local furniture store that I paid $600 for is so much better with the dogs than this one and I paid almost $1800 for it.
If the fabric gets wet, the color changes. For example, I sat on the couch after a shower and my wet hair changed two spots in the fabric to purple.
There is no lumbar support in this couch. I guess you have to pay extra for the lumbar pillows if you want to be able to comfortably sit up straight on the couch.
It’s too short. My husband is 6’1 and it’s far too short for him.
I ended up in the hospital shortly after I got the sofa put together and then had surgery a short time later. Life got in the way of returning it in time. I’m already outside of my 30 day warranty and didn’t buy an extended warranty so I’ll get as much use as I can out of it, and do better next time.”
“The sofa was sold as being ideal for pets - I'm not sure why. I am so disappointed and spend so much time trying to get the pet hair off but it sticks and gets deep in the material and is impossible to get off - AND I have cushion covers on them. I wouldn't have known how to begin to return so I have just kept it and will have to suffer for the next few years.
I was able to put the couch together myself but it was definitely not easy - best to have someone to help you.
The couch is pretty hard to sit on but not awful.”
