“I was in need of a sofa for our furnished rental and a friend recommended that I check out the Burrow Nomad couch. It was exactly what we were looking for in reference to design, durability and easy constrcution. Additionally, we needed a couch to have the ability to be brought up 5 flights within a narrow brownstone staircase, so this fit the bill perfectly!
I liked it so much I ordered another Nomad for a cottage we recently constructed.
At that point things went south. First I was delivered the wrong color. Burrow made good on the exchange, but unfortunately they use a delivery service that does not allow for specific date delivery. This makes things challenging when trying to coordinate receiving one's couch, especially when you do not want the boxed couch pieces left out in the elements of upstate New York on your porch. The other thing I did not notice was that the couch is EXTREMELY firm. I would even describe it as hard. As a result, it is not the most comfortable to lay down on for extended periods of time. We have somewhat remedied this issue with over stuffed pillows and a throw blanket.
With all of that said, I would still recommend the Namd couch. If Burrow gets their act together with a better means of delivery and can soften the couch up a bit, I think they would have a near perfect product.
