Delivery was fine, although it came in three different dates. At least we got all the pieces on the first try.
Assembly was MUCH more complicated than anticipated. The pegs and latches would often not align. I left about half of them undone. I hope this does not affect the structural integrity of the couch. Here you can tell that quality control is lacking. The peg and the place it goes were often up to 2 inches apart.
The sectional is not all that comfortable. It is pretty hard and shallow. We knew this before we ordered so not really surprised. It is not a lounging couch, it is more of a seating nicely while sipping tea with your British friends kind of couch. What was very surprising is the quality of the fabric. It is not as described. It is pretty rough and feels low-quality. It is supposed to be stain resistant, but after two months it looks 10 years old. This was the most disappointing part of all.
I would have returned it, but they charge you $250 and it is a huge pain the rear to re-bag everything.
Lastly, beware of the reviews. You cannot freely review this. I had to ask 4 times for a link to review the couch. I would take all the positive reviews with a grain of salt.
In all, Burrow positions itself with a price point in between another famous Swedish furniture company and other, higher end companies. Unfortunately, the quality is at par with our Swedish friends, and Burrow offers a much worse value. If you want a value proposition, the Swedish company is MUCH better value at the same quality. If you want a nice couch unfortunately you will have to pay more for a better brand.”
