“In my opinion, the content for pro-practice is not the most interesting aspect of architecture. The YA team have done a great job of curating the content. They have taken the bland language, run on sentences, and tedious subject content to a level that is enjoyable to learn with. With technical content it is the exact opposite. That was the content I was looking forward to getting emmerced in. The scarey part is the shear volume of content. The YA team provided a source of learning that made this content managable and coordinated. Making it all fit together.”

“The ARE Bootcamp helped me connect with people who I could talk through problems and topics with instead of trying to figure it out on my own. That was really important for me because I tend to overthink things when I’m studying by myself, and sometimes just being able to talk through a question or concept helped me realize what I was missing. It was also really encouraging to hear how other people were approaching the material and know that I wasn’t the only one struggling with certain topics. Having that support and interaction made studying feel a lot less overwhelming and helped me feel more confident going into the exam. I would definitely recommend Bootcamp to anyone who feels like studying alone isn't working for them.”

“The community and courses created for ARE exam takers were the main reason I got this done. Without the continued support from my peer bootcampers and our long study sessions, even years after the bootcamp, I wouldn't have kept pushing. The podcast was a great addition to the bootcamp, and the new PPD and PDD video courses were a great resource for me to review what I needed to go over in the last couple of weeks leading up to the exam. The communication and post bootcamp support were also excellent, with quick responses and feedback whenever I needed it.”

“The ARE Boot Camp is a game changer. After over two decades in professional practice, a whole lot of life, perhaps a little fear of the unknown and an unhealthy amount of procrastination, I needed more than a prep course. Having a comprehensive system, an active online community to study with and a solid plan to get to the finish line was very important. I've just completed the 10 week bootcamp and have my first exam scheduled. Pass or fail, I've finally started the marathon and feel confident in the support of the YA Academy team. As Michael so eloquently put it, if it's an exam you can retake then you didn't really fail, it was just an expensive practice test. While I am optimistic about passing, I'm also reassured that failure can also be part of the process. The YAA ARE Podcast is how I originally found the bootcamp. By requiring candidates be at the point where their licensing board has granted permission to test prior to enrolling speaks volumes about the quality and dedication of participants. The program has managed to make this long overdue licensing quest seem less insurmountable and far more feasible. I particularly love Emily’s episodes of the podcast.”
