Blended from natural vegetable oils and waxes, Osmo door Oil penetrates deeply in to the wood, keeping it elastic and preventing it from dying out over time and becoming brittle. Reduce swelling and shrinking, common with changes in atmospheric conditions.Gives a smooth satin sheen finish, once dry the wax may be polished to give a shinier finish.Osmo Door oil can be applied to wood that has been stained providing the stain has not sealed the wood.Excellent coverage, 1 litre will cover 20 square metres as a base coat and 12 square metres per litre with two coats.For the occasional renovation, clean surface and reapply a thin coat by cloth.For applications in wet humid environments (bathrooms etc) its advisable to prime the surface first with Osmo wood Protector.
