“I’m captivated by how beautiful and timely this book is. Though Alabaster Co. never really disappoints with what they create, it shouldn’t be a surprise to us all. I love how elegant the topic of BEAUTY is in the Bible and they have really captured a powerful portrayal of the woman with the alabaster jar and gives this story a fresh look, meditation, and alongside the photos a deeper meaning to a word that is often overlooked.
A definite great read for creatives and non-creatives alike. This book truly redeems beauty in an elevated way. So grateful upon receiving a complimentary copy of this book through Alabaster’s influencer Program. Personally this book has allowed me to see beauty in a much deeper way. It has also challenged me to celebrate purpose and faith in a new perspective. Thanks again for such a wonderful addition to my library of the beautiful Alabaster Co. Collection!”
“From someone who struggles with the image of beauty, this opens up so many more avenues that shows us different depths of the word beauty. It can be seen in so many things within us and around us. I received this book as part of Alabaster's Influence Program and its one of the best self reflections I've ever read. God's definition of beauty is far beyond what the world defines as beautiful and this book has so many levels to express beauty—whether it be the beauty in art, yourself, your generosity, your identity. I feel encouraged to keep following my passion and seek God's calling. This book is such a great guidance for those fields of creativity.”

“This is the devotional for me for the remainder of 2020 that is how powerfully it has impacted me. Through Alabaster's ambassador program I was able to get On Beauty and Faith and as a creative it has helped shift and refocus the way I perceive my work and purpose in life as a creative. Some of the visuals are a bit repetitive in this book compared to some of the others I have had the privilege of getting and reading, however the message it brings through is exactly what we need for this year. Taking a creative and in depth look at the lessons and meaning of the woman with the alabaster jar, the book explores the story in a way I haven't experienced or though of before. Truly needed to reflect on this during some of the struggles 2020 has presented to me as a creative in my work as a specialty barista and photographer.”

“Well this book was a beautiful surprise! The chapter on beauty and generosity challenged me to step outside of my scarcity mindset. The book dissects the story of the woman with the Alabaster Jar and although I’ve read this story many times over, I’ve never thought of this moment as an act of generosity. I’ve always focused on how she was treated and Jesus’ response. I’ve also never read it through the lens of how every thing she did was a form of beauty. The explanations on beauty is very detailed, but the words are poetic and well written which made it easy to follow and understand in the context of the story. This book captures every detail and brought a heightened awareness to critical moments I’ve overlooked. I have a feeling I’ll be looking for beauty in other stories from the Bible and I’m excited about that!
