Great gate opener. Works well. It has parts to fit a couple of different types of gates. I have a chain link gate and I had to make a couple of modifications to make it work. I had to ad a spacer between the chain links and the magnet mounting bracket to get the magnet close enough to the controller to make it stop the gate. I also had to extend the rear chain mounting bracket to get it far enough back to clear the opener when closed all of the way. These modifications were not the fault of the gate opener or the manufacturer. All in all I am very happy with the opener and the price.

The motor works just fine. The remote control has 4 buttons but you can only use the remote for one gate. You cannot use it for your garage door operator. Home link systems found in automobiles cannot work with this unit either, so you are stuck with having to have a key chain remote rattling around in your car. I will have to install another receiver in parallel with this unit so I can have my automobile's Home link system work with it. Also, the 12vdc minature battery that is in the transmitter is not available at Radio Shack, CVS, or Walgreens. I haven't tried Walmart yet, but I doubt if they would have this hard to get 27A battery. You can get it from Amazon, but I don't know about it's shelf life.Nope. Big shortcomings on the radio control. I guess for the price, I can afford to get a better remote & pay for installation of it. Getting response from the mfg is very short & curt, like a yes or no answer when queried about the remote control problems.

I have been using my gate opener for 2 weeks now and it is the best money I have spent in a long time. I have a 16' chain link gate and my opener works perfectly. It's a little slow. With so many gate openers on the market the price was what really caught my eye. This is the best invetment in my home I've made in awhile. Great product, Great price.

This gate opener arrive fast and was packaged well. All hardware appears to be there, as I have not yet installed it due to health issues.

Not a big problem to install. Some of their hardware was a bit cheap so I had to build my own chain brackets. After six months it stopped working, about once a week I would have to go out and re-program the remote control. It became worse over time and eventually stopped working all together. I ordered a new PSB (they call it "the brain") and installed it. Then I could not adjust the safety current limit. The gate would only move a few inches then turn around. I had to get a second "brain" and install it. My gate is now working but I have a very low level of confidence that I will work for another year without further issues. I could not find my original receipt so the manufacturer would not replace the "brain" under warranty. As other people have stated, it started to rust right away (even though it seldom rains here) and the build quality is at best low.

I installed the motor myself and it has been running fine during a month, but the installation was a pain since I'm not a PRO Gate installer. I'm taking off a star because the base is starting to rust already and here it doesn't even rain. Also there are no installation instructions, just an overview of all the components and like a bird's eye view of the whole thing... I was expecting... 1. open the box 2. check the bolts and screws.... attach this to that... but I guess this is supposed to be installed by someone who does this for a living. Anyways the most difficult part was installing the magnets so that the motor stops when it should. There is an error in the manual where it says about reversing the door direction, and that error costed me some time to figure out.Anyways... just wanted to let you guys know my experience. The guy who gives support is not very friendly, but did respond on a timely manner.

It takes some time to set up, it has great power it can lift the gate straight up. After you set it up you don't worry about a thing great product 2 remotes and I don't have to get out of my truck to open and close the gate after a long day at work :)
