The latest addition to ALEKO family of slide gate operators is ALEKO AR1400NOR Basic Kit Sliding Gate Opener for sliding Gate. It is AC powered and designed with a 120V AC (1.5 HP equivalent) motor. This gear rack sliding gate opener provides exceptional starting torque and continuous operation which makes it ideal for most applications. Constructed with an aluminum alloy chassis, it is corrosion resistant and light enough for one person to carry and install. The heavy-duty motor supports gates weighing up to 1400 lbs. and up to 55 ft in length.

For your safety, this model will stop and reverse if it encounters an obstruction on closing and stop when it encounters an obstruction on opening

“Just installed the AR 1450 on my 12'x 6' sliding gate. It weighs about 600 Lbs .Pretty straight forward install on the bottom rail of the gate. Easy to set up remotes and magnetic limit switches. I hope it works for many years. I expect it will. Customer service was very friendly and helpful when I didn't get the track on my first shipment. Got it in a few days. I installed and programed the wireless keypad easily.”
