“Poor customer service from Aleko!! I am still waiting for the support bar layout dimensions for the original install. Motor failed within four weeks, and now waiting on a replacement. But the rep that replaced it is wonderful to speak with. I tried to add the extended warranty after purchase but before installation to no avail. Again poor customer service! To clarify my first awning lasted three years, this one month. I do not know if I would do a third, there is plenty of other suppliers out there! So sorry for the poor review but I did give them a chance to do better but they chose not to. Anthony Yannarella, Brigantine, NJ”

“The directions and your parts list are not good. One of the arms was on backward from the factory. To put in on the correct way bolts and screws that were put in had to be removed. Some of the parts that are mentioned to install, but you have no idea what they are for. Like the blokers, what are they supposed to do? Another thing you find out after you get the instructions, is the awning it to be mounted on cement and that is the hardware you receive. Although their tech people are good; unless you like problems I wouldn't order this product. I wish there was a way to get some money back for the headaches. Did I mention the box came torn open and parts missing.”

“Awning arrived with damage several components although the packing was intact with no indication of damage. The awning was also incorrectly pre-assembled with several parts installed wrong. Instructions were not clear to visually see as well as to understand. Pretty disappointing process from start to finish and I rarely ever voice my opinion.”

“It took my contractor husband and engineer brother three days to figure out installation. But, itвЂ™s up now and I love it. Great look, great coverage for a great price. I would wish for a more extensive faq and tips section in the instructions for installation. That said I am glad I rolled the dice and purchased this and I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable retractable awning, if they are handy.”

“Great deal on this product!! The installation was pretty straightforward if you are handy. Basic tools needed for installation and an extra set of hands helps. The items arrived in two separate boxes. One box, the smaller of the two, contained the awning material only. The larger box had the motorized awning and all brackets and bolts. My box was slightly damaged when it arrived and one of the main parts had a really noticeable dent. Make sure to inspect the box when it arrives. The awning is installed and works extremely well. Having the motor and remote make it that more enjoyable! Good product, great price! Please note the instructions are difficult to follow but YouTube has a great video to help. Would recommend.”
