The cover it’s self seems nice. But the four little strings to tie it together once it’s on a very cheap. Very poor quality. Honestly if I had know. I wouldn’t have spent 40 dollars on it. On strap broke off trying to tie it. And the other ones won’t stay tied. It’s only been on for two weeks and has already come of once.

The awning is designed for the value you pay for it. It works well once you get it assembled. The only MAJOR flaw is the instruction booklet. It is very poor in explaining the assembling process. Most of the booklet is very understandable, but Page 11 is very poorly worded. The main part of the awning assembly is the tension bars. The instructions need to be clear that the link arms are NOT to be tightened down when slid into the front bar, then attaching the tension bars to it. Those links need to be able tot move sliding back and forth, so the self adjustment process can work itself in. I broke on link arm because of tightening it down. Aleko was kind enough to send me two new ones, because unbeknownst to me the other one broke when trying to assembling the first broken one. I found that opening the tension bars fully then sliding the tension bar out of the front bar to change it was the easiest. I attached the link to the tension bar, then slid it back into the front bar and left it loose so it would self adjust when closing it. Please adjust your page 11 to inform your customers that the links have to slid free because the instructions now say to tighten them, and inform your technical people the same. Someone there told me the booklet say to only tighten the link arms 90%... not true.

I also was to receive some parts under warranty with the cover. It was not in the box so I called and they they let the person who was handling my case call me. I said just ship me the the parts and she was not able to. No one has called me I’m starting to have second thoughts about this company
