“This is a refreshingly simple, old-school fan, both in style and construction. Strong steel and simple electrics. An engineer's fan, perfect for modification.I removed the base of mine and mounted it on the bulkhead of my boat's enclosed engine compartment for ventilation, which was extremely easy to do. The base connects to the fan with two simple bolts. There are only three wires: positive, negative, and fan speed. I cut off the 12v plug, then cut and extended the wires to connect my battery and to mount the switch near my other controls. Perfect. Noise isn't a concern for me on the water, but it sure blows! Low's a fast enough speed for my engine. The switch is a standard metal switch, but feels quality.A wonderful little fan.”
