“BUYER BEWARE! Aleko LIES, CHEATS & STEALS!!!! They sold me a 16 ft gate knowing the posts are not strong enough for the gate. My gate installer told me before he set the gate there would be problems and when I called Aleko they stated they never had problems. I’m having to split the gate and Aleko had the audacity to charge for additional hinges. Check the reviews on the internet before purchasing!”

Hi Debbie, We’re really sorry to hear about the issues you’re describing and the frustration this has caused. This isn’t the experience we want for our customers. As mentioned over our email conversations, the reason you're seeing the issue at hand is a result of the concrete base not being structurally sufficient enough or the soil surrounding the concrete base being too loose. Again, rather than removing the post from the ground you can rectify the situation by adding some 1/2" rebar to the post with non-shrink grout to fill the post properly and give it better structural integrity.
