This receiver is universal and works with any gate or garage door system. Just connect it in parallel according to the diagram and the garage door opening system will work with your existing switch/remote control as well as with new remotes.

“It works (syncs and opens door), has good range in, and it's small enough.Why 3 stars? It's a clicker, and it should click! The buttons don't provide enough tactile feedback.For me that's a big deal - I mostly use it while on my bike, and put it in my thin wind-breaker jacket's chest-pocket... I can never make it work through the jacket, all the buttons feel the same and I cannot seem to be sure if I pressed it or not.I now use the old clicker - twice as big, but I always know if it clicks even when inside my jacket.”
