“This replacement remote works great with my old Genie first generation garage door opener. It works with the lightest touch of the button, and the signal opens my garage door from about 50 yard away.”

“It works; however, it does not come with a key ring. You will have to add that yourself if you want. This is thin enough to go in my packet when I walk the dogs-which is why I wanted it-so that way I can lock the house and not worry about bringing keys. It must of been easy to set up because it took my husband less than 5 mins.”

“If you want a Genie garage door remote with excellent range then this is the one you want. I use 4 other aftermarket remotes like Stinger with my Genie garage door opener and this one by far has the best range. With the Stinger remotes I have to be within 20 to 30 ft of my garage door, but with this Genie G3T-R remote I can open the door before even turning up my long driveway. Programming it was a piece of cake. I only use 1 of the 3 buttons, but it is definitely worth it.”

“Very easy to sync up with my 22 year old Genie screw drive units. I do wish the buttons were better designed as there is not a "definitive feel" when you press the button. But you'll know it works when the door starts moving.”
