This receiver is universal and works with any gate or garage door system. Just connect it in parallel according to the diagram and the garage door opening system will work with your existing switch/remote control as well as with new remotes.

“We have an OLD Genie garage door opener and I was skeptical when I ordered this product. However, both the original remotes failed to work, even after replacing the batteries, so I took a chance and order this remote. I had a little trouble finding the programming button on the opener but once I found it and followed the instructions that came with the new remote, IT WORKS!”

“Our old Overhead Door single button remotes were failing - one button became gooey, and the other remote lost the rubber button altogether.Ordered one of these to try- read prior reviews that tell you how to program it- it was super simple to program and has a vastly improved range! “Is the exact same remote as the original. Fast, easy to program and use. I would prefer a one button remote for 1/2 the price, but that is not available so I knocked off one star for not being able to buy what I really wanted.”
