This receiver is universal and works with any gate or garage door system. Just connect it in parallel according to the diagram and the garage door opening system will work with your existing switch/remote control as well as with new remotes.

“Our home has an older Genie opener model that used a one-button remote (see picture for manual, old remote & new remote). The only annoying part of this process was getting the lens cover off of the opener itself to press the Learn Code button (it had 2 screws at the top of the cover, which were kind of hard to reach). Other than that, reprogramming this remote was so simple! Instructions were clear and it worked on the first try. My wife, who typically parks her car in the garage, is VERY happy.”
