“That's important because I didn't have all those fancy buttons everyone else talked about. No program, no up or down. I searched my opener over and over and couldn't find it. Between that frustration and having to put my new multi-function ladder together to get to the opener while my dog was jumping around and getting in the way, I was ready to throw the whole thing away -- garage, door, remote, opener -- all of it. After all, what is the purpose of having a garage if you can only get into it by opening the door through the kitchen?So I went to Google and asked it how to program a Genie PCG650 and the Genie site showed me that model only has one button right above an LED light. Press that button, hold the remote a little away from the opener and press a button three times, then test it. That's it. It worked perfect. I celebrated, the dog ran around stopping me from being able to close the door. And I came here to give that piece of knowledge for any who have the same trouble.”
