“I have been looking for this material with grommets and reinforced edges to use on my outdoor dog kennel for shade. At times I need to kennel my dog outdoors but don't want him to be out in the hot sun. Last summer I hung a tarp on the top and south sides of the kennel to provide shade, but the wind tore the tarps apart after about a month. I have been looking for this type of material that allows air to pass while still providing shade. Dairies in my area use these to hang over cow corrals for shade. This product is PERFECT for this purpose because the small holes allow the wind to pass through and don't cause any problems. The edges of this product are reinforced strongly and the package comes with plastic ties to attach your grommets to a fence. SUPER quality. I'm glad I ran across this product!I'm uploading some photos so you can see the texture of the fabric - both upclose and far away.Retail sample received during promotion in return for honest evaluation and review.”

“I'd previously purchased four of the 8x50 brass-grommet version of this fence with double grommets in the corners. On the sides of these, there were 8 brass grommets--one per foot--plus two extras at the corners. The version I'm reviewing here has aluminum grommets, no double grommets in corners, and for the six foot side, only four grommets. For many purposes, this fence would be fine. But where I am there's a lot of wind, and a lot of stress on the fence. The double-brass version survived a tough Boston winter with just one tear on a corner--but still usable since there are two grommets. The sparse aluminum grommet version here, I highly doubt would last a winter: the first corner I inspected came from the factory already frayed around the grommet. I hate spending money, but I'm going to spend 50% more on the double-brass grommet version, knowing that the money won't be wasted.”

“Just received my first roll and after installing I immediately ordered a second roll. With all the differing qualities and reviews of the different brands it was hard to decide. I finally started checking shipping weights and this weighed the most for the size. I was not expecting 100% privacy - and none of these will give you that. I was concerned about the thickness and durability of the material - and this is top notch stuff. No sticking your bare fingers through this vinyl. Yes, it came with all the ties that are needed to install. I did the job alone in 20 minutes and it is a breezy day. This is way better than expected! Very high quality and easy to install. See pics for privacy example. UPDATE - OVER A YEAR LATER - STILL HOLDING STRONG : I did NOT get this for free or a reduced price nor do I pay much attention to reviews from those who DO get the product for free.
