We received our 15 ft awning yesterday. It measures 14 ft and 4 inches. So if you want a 15 ft, you better order a 16 ft. It came with 4 pictures, for step 1, step 2, step 3, and step 4. The pictures were of zero help. It also came with 3 rubber tube things to insert in the material. There were only a place for 2, so... It would have been helpful if these rubber things were inserted at the factory or any instructions on how to get it through the designated space. After several hours of various attemps, from pushing and having the tube curl up inside. I decided it may slip thru better if I put dawn dish soap on the tube. This started okay, but after a few pushes it was so slippery we were not able to push. The last attemp was with a small spool of flexible wire that was bent back on the end so nothing sharp to puncture the awning. Once wire was in we slowly pulled the tubing through the material. **success** Now this was a 4 man job, but it was only my husband and I available to

a few pushes it was so slippery we were not able to push. The last attemp was with a small spool of flexible wire that was bent back on the end so nothing sharp to puncture the awning. Once wire was in we slowly pulled the tubing through the material. **success** Now this was a 4 man job, but it was only my husband and I available to do this so it was a work out for me.The heavy part was holding that long metal tubing up so that the top part of awning could be slidded into place and then screwed. We used ladders, large garbage cans to assist, since one had to advance the tubing while the other kept it straight so it would not tear. Then somehow the tension on the long bar got messed up and we had to hold that tube while it went from one tension winding to the other direction.and back and forth at least 4 times on each end. Finally it was able to rewind like it was supposed to. The awning itself is very pretty and I hope we never have to replace it again. It was an all afternoon job.
