These insoles have been amazing at helping reduce the discomfort I was experiencing from a hip laberal tear that I ended up buying a 2nd pair!

I'm absolutely LOVING these! The pain I used to feel from my laberal tear in my hip is so much improved! I tested the insoles out on a recent trip to Grand Canyon where I hiked every day, and I had no discomfort in my hip or knee! I've already told several friends about them!

I've been using the Aline insoles every time I leave the house, also putting them inside my slippers (using a pair of wool xeroshoes) at home so I could test them across all my activities. I've hiked, run, lifted, walked, and used them at my stand desk for the past 30 days. I've worn them inside Hanwag hiking boots, Hanwag hiking shoes, Reebok Nano's, Tretorn gum boots, and also two of my Vivobarefoot shoes. I find them to be quite stiff and while different than other types of insoles I've used, I don't find them any more effective than any other insoles I've tried. I find them a little uncomfortable, slippery, and quite inflexible. I find my foot has to conform to the insole, not the other way around. I certainly don't think they are a good option at all in barefoot shoes like I've seen Dave Asprey says he does with his Five Fingers. When it comes the the stiffness, maybe this is how "good" insoles are supposed to work, as my custom orthotics I used to have were quite hard as well but I feel these haven't done anything for me. I just find them annoying to use. I give them a 3 star because the product seems to be very high quality, not like some of the $20 junk insoles that fall apart in a few weeks. But they make some large claims about the efficacy of the product and for me the $20 insoles were just as effective. Lastly, I bought these wondering if they would do anything for my knee or back pain that I get while hiking but I haven't seen any improvement at all.
