“Nice looking fire which throws a lot of heat out. Not a bad price compared to some. Says 2years parts and labour guarantee on website but infact is just one year.”

“This outset fire looks really good in a contemporary setting and works well enough if 3.6kw output is sufficient for the size of room on a cold day. The low side-mounted ignition/control knob can be quite fiddly at first, so perhaps a quite frail elderly person may need to think about a fire with a top-mounted control. The closure plate does indeed stick out above the fire but it says in the installation manual that the gas engineer can trim it back to size.”

“Fire seems well made and works well. However it does not fit well with the supplied metal fireplace plate. This is bigger than the fire so is visible above the fire when fitted. This does not seem to be adjustable according to the gas fiitter who installed the fire. Is he missing something? .”
