“Love the design of the fire and it's effieciency. My only negeative about the design is the back plate which is 'very shiny and chrome looking'. I feel it would have been better in black, as there is no other chrome parts on the fire and it looks odd. I'm hoping it will discolour with use and be less noticable.”

“This fire has only very recently been fitted. I love the look of it and it seems well made. It gives out a lot of heat and looks very cosy. Easy side control. I am very pleased with the fire up to date but do shop around when purchasing as prices vary greatly. I believe I got a good price at the time of purchasing.”

“This was bought to replace a very old fashioned Gas fire in the property we have moved in to. It is a breathtakingly beautiful fire and looks perfect in my newly decorated lounge. The price was very reasonable in my opinion, bought online and delivered the next day. It was cheaper than going to a local shop to buy it. I would recommend this product.”

“We originally bought a marble fire place with an inset fire. Replacing the fire with the Valor Black Beauty has change the look of our living room. It stands out as a centre piece in the room. When it is switched on it gives a lovely warm glow through the glass front and the heat output is excellent. Well worth the money and we picked this fire after a long look around at all the other fires.”

“The fire is perfect and fits nicely but the only thing that was not so good was the delivery, got a text telling me that my order would be with me between 10.00 to 13.00 with a phone call 30mins before arriving, this time had passed so telephone company only to be told that it would not be delivered around 19.00 (7pm) but it arrived at 23.00 (11pm) so buyers beware that this could happen to you.”

“Very nice fire but with severe limitations for elderly. The low level control knob makes it very difficult for the elderly to turn on. Valor have advised of a knob at £30 which caters for the disabled which we have yet to try. There is another restriction which also poses an additional problem for the elderly. Due to the position of the knob when the fire has to be turned up / down / off, instinct is to support yourself with your left hand (due to the low level of the control knob on the right hand side) first thing that is near is the top of the hot fire.!!!!! Valor should indicate that this fire is unsuitable for the disabled / limited movement elderly.”
