“This fire was recommended to me by a British Gas engineer who has fitted a fair few, and told me how economical and reliable they are. So far I haven't been able to evaluate it fully as it's only been in for a week. My only complaint would be with the packaging of the item. It arrived via courier with two broken radiants that were held in place by some polystyrene packaging. It took two calls to get them replaced but when they arrived really well packed with large bubble wrap, I figured, why not wrap them like that in the box in the first place? Other than that the fire kicks out some heat, so if you don't want to crank up the central heating (if fitted) then this is an ideal fire for me in my averaged sized living room.”
