“Bought 2 of these fires for a large 3 bedroomed terrace house with no central heating. The fires look great but they are best suited to a 48" fireplace as it looks a bit big for the smaller 42" fireplace. Pity there are only choice of low or high heat settings, as unlike some other outset gas fires all the radiants heat up, and not just a matter of the outside ones or just the central ones. I have only used them on the low heat setting a couple of times since they were installed on 4 September. I have 2 cream limestone and marfill fireplaces and the cream fire suits the surrounds very well.”

“I had a gas fire with open front black coals and a living flame. Problem was that it looked very good but all the heat went up the chimney. I did some research and found that the Retro styles with Clay Radiants were very efficient and sent over 80% of the heat into the room. So last week I change mine for a Flavel Strata. Bought the new fire from Gas Super Store who made the purchase very easy and for a very reasonable price. Its cold and snowing today but my room 20ftX12ft is very warm at 20C with the fire on low. Very NIce !”

“THE FIRE SENDS OUT GREAT HEAT VERY RETRO LOOKING I LIVE IN A OLD COTTAGE AND IT LOOKS GOOD,GOT IT FOR HEAT OUTPUT AS NOT GOT CENTRAL HEATING AND IT DOES THE JOB I GOT THE CREAM ONE,USED TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE FIRE/COAL EFFECT FIRES WHICH WAS RUBBISH,NOW I CAN BE WARM AGAIN,AND NEXT DAY DELIVERY EXCELLENT 5*ALL ROUND.”
