20 Gx1 Inch Needle For Pets | Order Online At The Best Price Reviews

We have had great success with these when giving subq fluids to our cats. Please do not buy from the big online store. Those are not really medical grade for injecting - only extracting liquid meds. Many reviewers say those ones are dull when used on their pets. These ones are not dull and typically go in very smooth.

These needles are working well for the fluid infusions we have to give our dog. Previously we were using 18 guage needles and having trouble with the injection site leaking during the procedure. No problems so far with the 20 gauge needles.

This is the gauge of needle you need to use to give sub-q fluids to your pet. Yes, it takes a bit longer to administer fluids, but the hole you are puncturing in your pet is so much smaller. Also, less fluid will leak out of your pet when you finish the treatment. ProTip: When selecting a needle, the higher the number (gauge) the smaller the diameter of the needle.
