“I bought the 1 inch needle instead of the 3/4 inch needle that I got from the vet since my pup moves around while I am trying to give her the fluids she requires due to kidney disease. These work better and do not slip out of her skin when she moves.”
“The needles are very good. The only reason I'm giving it a 4-star instead of 5, is because I've been using 19 gauge needles through my vet and they were perfect. Allivet doesn't carry 19g -- only 18g or 20g. I went with the 20g because I thought it would be a little smaller & not cause as much discomfort to my cat. But that small difference really made the IV fluids run a lot slower. My kitty doesn't really like to hold still for this anyway. So making him sit there for almost twice as long is not a good thing. I will order the 18g from now on.”
