“This medication has been the only thing that has worked for my itchy Pit Bull. My other allergic dog takes Atopica and that works semi-well for her but didn't do anything for him. This isn't a cure-all or 100% gets rid of symptoms but it helps a lot. He doesn't itch nearly as much keeping the secondary skin infections at bay. The only issue with Apoquel is its unreliability. It works when they are on it but it seems to be a really hard medication to get your hands on. Allivet has been the only place I've been able to find it and sometimes I have to check the website daily.”
