Although this is a little expensive, I keep buying these because both my dogs and my daughter's dog adore them!

We like to toggle between these, bully sticks, and other dental treats. As a senior dog, Marley seems to enjoy these when they come into rotation.

Excellent product. Was intended for my larger 55 lb. dog but found out that all I have to do to give a smaller portion of it to my smaller 30 lb. dog is to use heavy duty scissors.

Purina discontinued the Busy Hearty Hides about 3 years ago, only to make them available as a "prescription-only dental chew" at 3x the price. After literally buying every box of Hearty Hides I could get my hands on, I realized I didn't have anywhere near a lifetime supply and contacted Purina. They explained that the Hearty Hide wasn't a big seller so it was discontinued, but if I really liked them, I could purchase Pro Plan Veterinary Chewz through my dog's vet. Yeah, these are exactly the same products and the only difference is price and availability. I used to pick up Hearty Hides when I did my grocery shopping; now I have to use an online service and pay 3x as much as I used to. Allivet is the only site where I can get these at a reasonable price. But, my dog has had a daily "Chew-Ez" (prior product name) since he was about a year old; he is 11 now and there is no way to explain to him that the big bad corporation screwed us, he just wants his chew, so I order these in bulk every 2-3 months and hope this product doesn't get discontinued as well.

Looking for something to satisfy my dog's chewing desire. This product is vegetables not rawhide so that reduces the possibility of choking.

These treats are not our doggies favorite (we have 3 dogs). They will tote them around , but they don't really chew on them.
