Really well made piece of kit from this great company, stitching is very well done on the hammock and the straps are super strong and easy to use. Will be buying more gear from these guys !

I'm so satisfied with my hammock and the Alton Goods brand in general. I'd been looking to get one for a while, and it was well worth the wait. Great quality, light weight, and super strong. There are directions to use the included cords and caribbeaners to hang it, but I'm so glad I got the straps which make it stupid easy to set up. I'm 6'1", 195 lbs, and I'm comfortable on a slant and even straight in line. It scrunches into the bag easily without any folding, and since the bag is attached at the midpoint, it's a super convenient little pocket to put my phone/wallet in while I'm laying. The personal touches in the shipping/packaging were well received and I have so much respect for the company. Thanks Alton Goods ___ُ

I was doing some archaeological work in Malta a few weeks ago and decided the Alton Hammock and straps were the perfect set up to rests amongst the pomegranate grove nearby. The shade of the pomegranates gave welcome relief from the 35-45 degree temperatures experienced over the two weeks. I will definitely consider packing this again for local and overseas work. If you are interested in what we were doing over there check out the Maltese media: https://www.tvm.com.mt/en/news/heritage-malta-to-study-fields-close-to-domus-romana/. Sorry I couldn't get the hammock on Maltese TV.

Took my Hammock to Malta this year so I had somewhere to get out of the sun during archaeological fieldwork. Set the hammock up amongst the pomegranate grove that will soon be removed as we extend our excavation trenches into new areas. My colleagues laughed at first, but then recognised how comfortable I was compared to sitting on the rough ground. Will definitely keep the hammock amongst my remote working field kit.

Very high quality, affordable but best of all a local company. What more could you ask for?

My first night out in the hammock was exceptional. I have gone back to the hammock after many years sleeping on the floor and found I had one of the best night sleeps. The hammock does require a mattress or underquilt in cooler weather, but being on the larger size, I found the hammock perfectly suited for myself. It is easy to set up and I recommend getting the tree straps as well.
