Long Sleeve Polo Shirt for Tall Men in Black & White M / Extra Tall / Black & White Reviews

4 Rating 1 Reviews
Had been waiting for long sleeved polos and/or golf shirts for quite some time, until picking some up from one of American Tall's competitors a few years ago ,some time before American Tall had any available. But, once I saw they did, and then the look of this particular polo shirt intrigued me, I went for it. Having purchased plenty of shirts including short sleeved polos and/or golf shirts from American Tall, I had a good idea of how it should fit. Or so I thought. Whenever I find things that fit better than expected or longer than expected, I tend to call them happy accidents clothing wise, like finding a shirt with a 39/40 sleeve when it was supposed to have a 33/34 sleeve or a 34" leg turns out to be 38". But, when it's the opposite, I call that an unhappy accident clothing wise, like when a 38" leg ends up being 31". While I know that there can be variation between garments and accept that. This shirt is a mixture of happy and unhappy accidents fit-wise, to some extent. The overall fit of this shirt is rather unexpectedly loose and almost Like It was sized incorrectly. The chest is 42", the hip is 38", and while it's usually the case that the neck is bigger than your neck by about an inch, such that with my 15" neck I figured the shirt would have a 16" neck, that was not the case here. The neck is 20" around, it's big enough that I can fit my fist between my neck and the neck of the shirt, and while I have been wearing it anyway, because I do like the shirt still, I'll probably have to go see my tailor to see whether or not they can fix the neck, and if not, loose it will stay. However, again, on the bright side the sleeve is a full 40" or 41" long even after washing, so yay to it being long enough. And with my short torso, it's definitely long enough if not too long, but oh well I tuck it in, so it's all good. Additionally, the contrasting colour scheme looks good, the pattern and texture of material looks neat, the shirt is a good quality in terms of fabric and durability as I have come to expect from American Tall, and it of course still looks good overall. So while it seems like this shirt had trouble making up its mind of what size it is, overall, I am still pleased with it, and look forward to wearing it. So 4/5 this time American Tall but overall I'm still a happy customer, so keep up the greatHad been waiting for long sleeved polos and/or golf shirts for quite some time, until picking some up from one of American Tall's competitors a few years ago ,some time before American Tall had any available.
