“This is my first purchase from AT. Very pleased thus far with the decision. I'm 6'5'', 220, muscular legs. These pants are extremely soft and comfortable, so no issues there. The length is almost too long, which never happens to me. This isn't a problem because they are lounge pants and honestly I'm probably only noticing it because I'm used to my sweats riding up to my ankle all the time. I'm a 35'' waist and the LT fits well. Will definitely be purchasing more given the quality and fit of these pants.”
We're sorry that the pants are too long. These pants are a relaxed fit, whereas, the joggers are more tapered. If his inseam is shorter than 35" we recommend trying pants that are are more tapered so that they stay above the foot.
“I'm not overly tall at 6'2," but I need a pant size with a 34" real length inseam, which is not what a size 34 inseam size on regular pants actually equates to. If I order jeans, for example, I usually have to order a 36 inseam and have it altered to cut about an inch off for proper fit which then equates to a real world 34 inches when measured.
Try finding workout or lounge pants that actually have inseam lengths like this and you mostly won't. Only companies that sell Tall sizes usually have a 34ish inch inseam. Or you have to get a larger waist size to try to get the length to be longer and then they have a sloppy fit, feel and look.
That's when I found American Tall. They aren't really geared towards guys my height, but I can always get something that fits well around the waist and upper legs, then have the bottoms cut down and tapered down to size and have a great product.
That's what I have done here. I ordered a M Tall and had my tailor cut about 4-5 inches off the length so that I have a very comfortable, well fitted pair of lounge pants. I ordered a pair of both grey and navy. These are very comfortable, well-built and have a nice fit. They are great for lounging around the house in both comfort and style. I highly recommend them. I'm sure they'll both last me many years.”
