“I purchased both Carman Tapered Chinos and Tapered Fit Traveler Chinos in a 34 waist size. While the Traveler Chinos fit great, the Carman Chinos were entirely too tight in the waist. I returned the Carman pants for an exchange in 36 waist. Hopefully th 36 fits better.”

“I have 5 pairs of these pants ranging from light to darker colors. In my experience, the darker colors shrank more when I washed them, so much so that I returned them for a replacement. The darker colors are also tighter before washing them—a 34 waist fits more like a 33—whereas the lighter colors, like khaki, fit like a true 34. Am I the only one experiencing this?”
