Carman TAPERED Jeans for Tall Men in Washed Faded Black 28 / 36 / Washed Faded Black Reviews

3 Rating 5 Reviews
Have bought a few variations of these pants. I like them a lot, but have had issues. Specifically with the stone washed which were my favorite in the feel. The material snags over time creating weird ripples int he fabric. Also the pockets started deteriorating after a year. Sewed them up 3 times, but they just keep ripping from just putting my hand or phone in my pocket. Nothing sharp, the pocket fabric is so weak my hand will just go straight through it with minimal effort. This has made the jeans almost unusable as I always have my phone and wallet in my front pockets. The grey jeans so far have been great. The black jeans are ok. The fabric is very coarse and I don’t’ like wearing them.

AMAZING! Loved these "washed fded black"(aka grey) jeans. So soft. I'd wear them everyday if I could. I got a pair of the black ones which are mostly cotton and they shrunk. My bad for not checking. The black cotton ones are slow not soft. Very rough feeling.

Just got mine today! I am 6’3 and I bought 30w / 36L. The best length and looks amazing on me. Shout out to American Tall from Ukraine, Kiev.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing this item. It is very tight and fits like a skinny jeans, which is not as advertised. It is at least 2" narrower than the Carman tapered Chinos which you would expect should be exactly the same cut. Unfortunately, this lack of quality control and consistency is an ongoing problem with a large number of AT products. Over the last couple of years I have purchased over 35 items from AT, and had to exchange/return (or just accepted as-is) more than 35% of them due to issues with sizing (e.g. pants labelled as 34" measured in at 36"); fit (Too tight or too loose compared to ad); and wrong items sent. Customer service is often dismissive of the inconvenience caused by the requirement to return items (sometimes multiple times) to a UPS store, acting as if AT is doing me a favour by accepting a return even when it is clearly their fault - very disappointing! They do not appear to fully understand how their mistakes can be a drain on customers’ resources and therefore trust in the company.

Wrong size sent - no paperwork included - did online chat only to be told I’d get an email - how exactly am I to return - ugh! Too difficult to deal with - won’t be reordering anything most likely
